Unique island of Sumatra and its nature makes Aceh perfect home for thousands of different species of animals, birds, insects, lizards and birds.
Centipede
Ohhh... It should be tiring to make one step with so many legs. There are different types of centipedes in Aceh.
Just be attentive and you will see one wondering somewhere close to you. But be careful! You do not want to be bitten by one.
Ant
They already occupied all the places in the world. Aceh is not an exception. They are everywhere here. At your home, in you car, in a restaurant or even in your food.
If you will be lucky you can also watch the fiercest fight between small red and large black ants.
Cockroach
They are so big and juicy. Better do not try to taste them. But at the same time do not be afraid. They just want to live peacefully with everyone around.
Mantis
Usually you can see them in the jungle or on a tree. Nevertheless, sometimes those guys can explore wider world and finish at your doorstep.
Gecko
If you hear a strange chicken sound at night do not think that some chicken is celebrating its dinner. No... It is this cute uninvited guest crawling your walls or ceiling.
MOTH
These night lover might look scary and not as beautiful as butterflies but they will accompany you then you are reading a book in your terrace.
Spider
Those four legged creatures will surround you everywhere. But keep calm! You do not like mosquitos but they do. So it is beneficial friendship for you all.
Dragon fly
Dragon flies loves water but sometimes they are curious enough to leave their lovable surroundings and explore more.
Varanus
It is impossible not to notice that these lizards have occupied all waters of sewage.
You will see them swimming around if only you look down then you walk.
Monkey
Early morning or late afternoon they leave their cozy homes in mountains and goes hunting for food.
In Aceh all monkeys are very wild so be careful trying to be friends with them.
