APPle cucumber
They look like big apples but taste like melons.
snake fruit
Snake bike can be bitter as hell. Same with snake fruits. So make sure you will choose riped ones.


Rambutan
These little colorful creatures look like just appeared from the ocean. But do not be afraid of their green spikes. This fruit can you transfer to real heaven of sweetness.
Durian
Yeah... It smells... but just close your nose and try it. You cannot leave Aceh without trying it by yourself.


Banana
If you are banana lover, this place is for you. Bananas for frying, bananas for desert, long bananas, baby bananas, green bananas, yellow bananas.... Are you sure you have already tasted different kind of bananas?
GUAva
Something bitter, something sour, something sweet... All tasted in one fruit.


Mango
So apparently I have not felt the real taste of a mango till I visited Asia. Do you know the real taste of this magic fruit?

No worries this fruit will not burn you down or it has no connection to Khaleesi. But it will moisture your day and will give you feeling of freshness.


Papaya
This originally South American fruit grows happily in the lands of Aceh. It said that it has some anti-ageing characteristics. So why not to try it?

Tamarillo
So many colors. So many tastes. Try tamarillo, or in Indonesian language terong belanda (engl. dutch eggplant), juice to experience new taste.
Just better order it with sugar. Otherwise it will be very sour!
Buah Sawo
Sapodilla fruit is native to South America. Nevertheless, in Aceh they grow happily and you can find them in a traditional market.
This fruit looks a little bit like a kiwi but the taste reminds a pear.


Passion Fruit
It is not so easy to find passion fruits in Acehnese traditional markets but if you will be lucky you will be amazed by delicious taste of this fruit.
Local people call this fruit "markisa" and if you will not find fresh fruit at least try drinks with passion fruit syrup.
